Brenda Curtis

I'm Steve Curtis's wife Brenda, and I want to add my sentiments about Gary. I can't tell you how many mornings I'd get up before work, and Gary would have responded in email to one of the boy's mission letters. He got such a big kick out of some of their stories and experiences. Our son, Ben, I think tickled him the most with the antics of working with the deaf in California. But he'd get me chuckling and smiling all day with some of his emails. Other times he would leave me pondering a gospel principle and just feeling blessed to be a mother in Zion. I always appreciated the care and concern he has shown for his own mother throughout the years. He has been an example for many of us!

My family also owns Ingram's Jewelers in Idaho Falls, and my father and brother have known Gary for years as the salesmen of the Citizen/Seiko watches they sell in the store. When I told them the sad news, they all commented on how they will miss Gary and the joy he brought when he came to the store. He will be missed! May the healing power of the Atonement find root in all of your hearts as you go through this difficult period as a family. Know that the Savior knows you, and loves you, and that he is taking special care of all in need of peace at this time.

Love,

Brenda Curtis
