My heart has been so heavy since Friday. What a dear friend Gary was. He had a huge heart and was a great big teddy bear of a man. He would do just about anything for you and always made sure everyone was having a good time. You could count on Gary. So many memories . . . Lake Powell, Lake Mead, Bear Lake, Line Dancing, painting those kitchen cabinets, running up to the cabin in Samak. Just hanging out. Mostly, I just remember lots of laughter and friendship. We had the world figured out back in those days, didn't we. . . We think we will all live forever - we never realize that the last time we saw you was going to be the last time. . . Our life is richer for having known Gary and Laura and the girls. Our memories are fond and plentiful. Thank you for your friendship and love. There will always be a place in our hearts for you. May you have peace, Gary and may the Lord be with your family at this time.
