Paul Courrege

To say that my heart is broken is putting things mildly. I could have never imagined I would have to be writing kind words about Gary because he is no longer with us. Gary was one of the most brilliant people I have ever known. His ability to analyze a problem, break it down to its elements and come up with creative solutions was uncanny. We all knew Gary was the smartest guy in the room, no matter where we were. His wit was something I always marveled at. And that humor...he made people laugh that normally wouldn't even smile. He was my roommate at least 20 times over the past 10 years at sales meetings so I enjoyed going to those meetings knowing he would be there. Some nights we would stay up late just talking about more serious stuff. Other nights he would make me laugh with his observations of people and situations until my stomach hurt. .Either way, the meetings were always more enjoyable because he was there. Although we were just close friends, he was more like a brother to me.It's hard to believe I won't be seeing him again (in this world) and I know I will miss him much. It's my prayer that his family find consolation in this most diffucult time. We were all so lucky to have had him in our lives.
